so i was sitting outside on my screened in porch today, trying to get some studying done. then a few things happened all at once. talk about crazy!
-first, the rain started coming down sideways. hard. and i started to get wet- no bueno.
-then, my mom came in saying we had no school and the ap gov test would be rescheduled. so my studying has been for nothing. (but thanks for a good time yesterday, bwood library!! i do love wall-e and the possibilty of sleeping in a locked study room!)
-finally, i realized my mom was making me a bbq chicken pizza (which is my favorite). so that and the prospect of not doing anything tomorrow made this blogger a happy camper. :-)
-so i wiped the rain off my face and closed my sopping wet study book and headed inside, only to find that all surgeries at the hospital will be cancelled for tomorrow at the vanderbilt children's hospital. that's extremely sad. i hope everyone can wait another day before getting cut open.
-here's my final delimma: what should i do the rest of today and tomorrow?!? there are so many options. here are a few of them. (man i sure do like lists)
1. be a productive student and actually study. or read wuthering heights- which i no longer have in my possession but spark notes is just a click away!
2. bake. (this is most likely going to happen regardless of whatever else i decide to do)
3. go outside and sing in the rain. but it's really pouring, and my singing voice is not meant to be heard outside the shower. :-/
4. play some piano. hahah like this is going to happen. my whole family would be walking around with headphones on.
5. this is my favorite option. VENTURE OUT INTO THE FLOOD. call me crazy, but i can't stay at this house all day. and im pretty much a huge badass. unlike someone i know that wont even sneak out of his house to hit taco bell...
so those are my options. the only one i left out was swimming. i heard a horrible rumor that there may be snakes in the water- and those slimy bitches are not my friends.
land of hope and dreams? more like land of floods and downpours. if you haven't invested in a rainjacket, now may be the time to think about getting one.
until next time...stay dry!
